Austin District Music Teachers Association Teacher of the Year (2021) has over 4 decades of experience. Marti Ahern offers group piano lessons and private instruction for piano and voice. All styles of music are taught, along with theory and opportunities to perform. All ages and levels of experience are welcome. Lessons are offered in person and virtual (Zoom or FaceTime).

Private instruction is based on level and interest of each student. Various method books are used to match learning styles, along with educational apps during the lessons. Group instruction uses graded method books and selected solos.
