UT Computer Science Summer Academies
The Department of Computer Science at The University of Texas at Austin offers a varity of distinct summer academies for high school students. Join our academies to exlpore the world of computer science, learn to code, and get a taste of collegiate life!
Applicaiton-Based Academies
Academy for All and Academy for Women are free, one-week residential programs for high school students who are looking to learn to code or expand their coding skills. These academies are focused on increasing diversity and inclusion in STEM and are designed to dispel myths about computer science and intrigue students with the potential of computing and the excitement of problem solving.

Tuition-Based Academies
Our tuition based academies are for high school students who are looking to focus on a specific area of computer science. These academies also provide a chance for students to interact with faculty and industry partners and an opportunity to meet with admissions and learn about applying to UT. Join us and learn more about the world of robotics, computer graphics, game development, or iOS app development!
Academy for Robotics June 16-21 and June 23-28, 2024
Academy for Game Development July 8 - July 19, 2024
Academy for iOS App Development July 21 - July 26, 2024
Academy for Machine Learning July 28 - August 2, 2024
Registration will open on January 31 and remain open until spots fill.
