Austin Playhouse’s Theatre for Youth program engages local elementary, middle, and high school students through professional productions and workshops. The Palace Theatre provides high quality enrichment and training to students of all ages. We offer classes and camps in acting, dance, voice, improv, film & TV, sketch comedy, stage combat, playwriting, and musical theatre throughout the year.
Our Classes provide high quality training to students of all ages. It is here that we build the skills that thereby enhance the confidence of every student. Students develop vocal and physical presence through classes in acting, dance, voice, improvisation, sketch and stand-up comedy, stage combat, and musical theatre. Our fall session runs September – November and our spring session runs January – April.
Classes create a fun and supportive environment for kids to learn the basics of creating improv, story telling, and stagecraft. The classes are taught primarily through games, play, and improved stories.

North Texas Conservatory offers: ballet, jazz, contemporary movement classes, open adult ballet; classical Spanish, a complete pre-professional dance program, and private piano instruction for all ages after school and on weekends.
The Drama Club runs weekly; each session is packed with an interactive lesson from a guest artist, theater games, and cohort meeting time with group leaders.
Impact Arts, the 501c3 nonprofit that runs Texas Arts Project, offers a multitude of private lessons, prescreen packages, and even in-school workshops. From vocal lessons to interview coaching, we offer incredible training by industry professionals.
THE ADDERLEY SCHOOL does much more than teach children how to sing, act and dance. Instructors instill joy and confidence in each child one by one through intimate mentor-ship.
West Austin Dance Academy offers a variety of dance classes based on age, experience and ability. We offer classes for beginning, competitive dancers and everyone in between.
